# Great Dolmen of Zambujeiro

Evora, Portugal

One of the largest megalithic burial chambers on the Iberian Peninsula, built around 3500 BC. Seven granite slabs nearly eight metres tall form its great chamber, a communal Neolithic tomb set among the cork oaks of the Alentejo near Valverde.
