Almendres Cromlech, Evora

A vast Neolithic stone circle of roughly 95 granite menhirs raised in phases from about 6000 BC, making it older than Stonehenge. It is the largest grouping of standing stones on the Iberian Peninsula and one of Europe's most important megalithic sites.
