Hadrian's Aqueduct (Durrës)

Fragments of arches and stone channels survive near modern Durrës. They are the remains of an aqueduct about fifteen kilometres long, built under Emperor Hadrian to bring water to ancient Dyrrachium, and are now partly covered by the city's buildings.
