Dunedin Chinese Garden

The Dunedin Chinese Garden, named Lan Yuan, opened in 2008 as an authentic Ming-style scholar's garden. Designed by Shanghai architects and built largely from materials shipped from China, it honours the Cantonese settlers of the Otago gold rush.
