Hugo Grotius Statue
A bronze statue on the Markt honouring Hugo Grotius, the Delft-born jurist regarded as the father of international law. Unveiled in 1886 and sculpted by Franciscus Leonardus Stracké, it shows him gazing out over his native city's marketplace.
