# Yucay

Cusco, Peru

Yucay is a tranquil village in Peru's Sacred Valley, set at around 2857 meters in the Urubamba Province. Once the royal estate of the Inca Huayna Capac and later home to Sayri Tupac, it preserves vast terraces and an irrigation system still in use today.
