Qenqo

A 15th-century Inca ritual site carved from a great limestone outcrop near Cusco. Its Quechua name means zigzag, after the channels cut into the rock. One of the region's largest sacred huacas, it holds a subterranean altar used for ceremonies and likely sacrifice.
