Inca Empire Heritage

The Inca Empire, called Tawantinsuyu, was the largest state in pre-Columbian America, ruled from Cusco. Forged after 1438 under Pachacuti and spanning the Andes by 1525, it bound millions through roads, terraces, and tribute before falling to the Spanish in the 1530s.
