ChristChurch Cathedral
A Gothic Revival Anglican cathedral begun in 1864 and finished in 1904, designed by George Gilbert Scott with Benjamin Mountfort. Its spire fell in the 2011 earthquake, and reinstatement work was paused in 2024.
