Overbrook Hospital
Chiang Rai Province's first private hospital, founded in 1903 by the Canadian Presbyterian missionary doctor William A. Briggs. Named for a Pennsylvania church that funded it, it brought modern medicine to a remote frontier town of a few hundred people.
