Doi Suthep
Rising 1,676 meters west of Chiang Mai, Doi Suthep is the sacred mountain that gives the city its western horizon. Named for an ancient hermit, its forested slopes hold the revered temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, founded in 1383.
