Mahkamat al-Pasha, Casablanca

Built in the 1940s by architect Auguste Cadet, the Mahkamat al-Pasha anchors Casablanca's Habous quarter. This Mauro-Andalusian complex once served as courthouse, governor's residence, and reception hall, lavished with carved cedar, zellij tilework, and painted ceilings.
