# National Library of Argentina

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Argentina's national library, founded in 1810, occupies a striking Brutalist building of raised concrete designed by Clorindo Testa and opened in 1992. It rises in Recoleta on the former site of the residence where Juan and Eva Peron once lived.
