Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Koekelberg)
A vast Art Deco basilica in Koekelberg, commissioned by King Leopold II and built between 1905 and 1969 and inaugurated in 1970. Among the largest churches in the world and the biggest Art Deco building anywhere, it is crowned by a green copper dome reaching nearly ninety meters.
