Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha

Opened in 1976 at the foot of Mount Coot-tha, this 56-hectare subtropical garden was established as a flood-free alternative to the city gardens. It gathers rainforest, arid-zone and Japanese collections, a tropical dome and a planetarium roughly seven kilometres from central Brisbane.
