USS Constitution
Launched in 1797 and still afloat at Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution is the world's oldest commissioned warship. The wooden frigate earned the name Old Ironsides during the War of 1812 when enemy cannonballs bounced off her thick oak sides.
