Berlin, Germany
New Synagogue

A gilded dome rises above Oranienburger Straße, marking Berlin's grandest synagogue, completed in 1866 in lavish Moorish Revival style. Destroyed in war yet partly rebuilt, it now houses the Centrum Judaicum and tells the story of Jewish Berlin.
