Germany's national history museum occupies the Zeughaus, a Baroque arsenal of 1695 to 1730 on Unter den Linden. Founded in 1987, it pairs Andreas Schlüter's sculpture-rich courtyard with a glass exhibition hall designed by I. M. Pei.
