# Onufri Museum

This national iconographic museum opened in nineteen eighty-six inside the Church of the Dormition of Saint Mary in Berat Castle. It has one hundred and seventy-three objects on display: one hundred and six icons and sixty-seven liturgical objects, with a focus on the works of Onufri, the great sixteenth-century Albanian painter known for his psychological realism and unique shade of red.
