# Mount Tomorr

Berat, Albania

The most imposing mountain in southeastern Albania, Mount Tomorr rises to two thousand four hundred and sixteen metres at its summit, Çuka e Partizanit. A place of worship since Illyrian times, it is now the holiest centre of the Bektashi order worldwide. Every August, thousands of pilgrims climb to the Kulmak Tekke on its southern slope for the feast of Ashura.
