# Osum Canyon

Berat, Albania

This karst canyon is twenty-six kilometres long, carved by the river Osum over two to three million years, with walls up to eighty metres high and a bed that narrows to one and a half metres. It offers rafting in spring and hiking in summer and is now a Category Three Natural Monument.
