Temple of Earth (Ditan)
The Temple of Earth, built in 1530 by the Ming Jiajing Emperor, is where rulers offered summer-solstice sacrifices to the Earth deity. Its square altar mirrors the round Temple of Heaven; today it is the popular Ditan Park.
