# Beihai Park

Beijing, China

One of China's oldest imperial gardens, Beihai centers on a broad lake and Jade Flower Island, crowned by a white Tibetan-style dagoba from 1651. Its origins reach back to the Jin dynasty in 1179. It opened to the public in 1925.
