Sampheng
The original street of Bangkok's Chinatown, Sampheng began in 1782 when Teochew settlers resettled here. Barely 10 metres wide, the narrow lane now known as Soi Wanit 1 is the city's premier wholesale market, jammed with toys, fabrics, and goods of every kind.
