Restored in 1711 under King Thai Sa and his brother Prince Boromakot, Wat Kudi Dao lies east of the old city near Wat Maheyong. Its bell-shaped Sri Lankan chedi, boat-curved ordination hall, and rare two-story residence recall late Ayutthaya grandeur.
