Erechtheion

An elegant Ionic temple on the Acropolis, built between around 421 and 406 BCE on uneven sacred ground. Its asymmetrical plan served several cults at once, and its Porch of the Caryatids, supported by six sculpted maidens, is among the most famous sights in Athens.
