# Sabandía

Sabandía is a rural district southeast of Arequipa, created in 1822. Its centerpiece is the Molino de Sabandía, a sillar water mill commissioned in 1621 and restored in 1973, set among green fields, springs, and terraces beneath the volcanoes.
