Mummy Juanita
An Inca girl sacrificed on Mount Ampato between about 1440 and 1480 and discovered frozen in 1995, Juanita is among the best-preserved mummies ever found. Her skin, hair, organs and fine garments survive intact, displayed in a refrigerated case in Arequipa.
