# FBC Melgar

Arequipa, Peru

Founded in 1915 and named for the poet Mariano Melgar, FBC Melgar is Arequipa's beloved red-and-black football club. Nicknamed the Domino and the Lion of the South, it won Peru's national title in 1981 and again in 2015.
