A Jesuit church begun in 1590 and finished in 1698, famed for its intricately carved sillar facade in the mestizo-Baroque style. Inside, the San Ignacio chapel dazzles with a polychrome ceiling painted with tropical flora and fauna, a jewel of colonial Arequipa.
