Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa
Stretching the full north side of the Plaza de Armas, this immense white sillar cathedral was completed in 1656, then rebuilt after fire and earthquakes. Its Neo-Renaissance facade, twin towers and great Belgian organ make it one of southern Peru's grandest churches.
