# Brabo Fountain

Jef Lambeaux's bronze fountain, unveiled in 1887 at the heart of the Grote Markt. It shows the hero Silvius Brabo hurling a giant's severed hand into the Scheldt, the legend behind Antwerp's name, rising over 10 metres above a base of sea creatures.
