Boerentoren (Farmers' Tower)
Built between 1929 and 1932, the Boerentoren rose around 87 meters as one of Europe's earliest skyscrapers. Its stepped Art Deco form long defined the Antwerp skyline after the cathedral, and the tower is now being transformed into a cultural venue.
