Magere Brug

Magere Brug, Amsterdam

A white wooden double-leaf drawbridge over the Amstel, first built in the late 17th century and rebuilt in its present form in the 1930s. Reserved for pedestrians and cyclists, it lifts for passing boats and glows with hundreds of lights at night.
