Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam

Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam is one of the world's oldest botanical gardens, founded in 1638 as a medicinal herb garden. Stocked with exotic plants by Dutch traders, it grew the coffee that seeded the plantations of the Americas and keeps centuries-old specimens alive in the Plantage.
