Brouwersgracht

Brouwersgracht, Amsterdam

A canal at the northern edge of the canal belt, named in 1594 for the breweries that once lined it. Its former warehouses, now sought-after homes, and its many bridges led readers of Het Parool to vote it Amsterdam's most beautiful street in 2007.
