Alexandria, Egypt
Kom El Deka Roman Theatre

The only Roman theatre found in Egypt, a small marble-tiered odeon unearthed in central Alexandria from 1960 by Polish archaeologists. Set among baths, lecture halls and the mosaic-floored Villa of the Birds, it anchors the city's largest Greco-Roman excavation.
